About the role

Maison MERAKI is seeking a Workshop Coordinator to manage daily operations of its premium production atelier in Antananarivo. The role bridges artisans, internal teams, and external partners to ensure luxury‑level quality and timely delivery of handcrafted leather goods, vegetal fiber accessories, and lifestyle objects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate production schedules, monitor workflow, and guarantee adherence to quality standards.
• Organise and lead internal workshops, briefings, and training sessions to align teams on project requirements.
• Provide clear updates on client projects, handle basic B2B customer service inquiries, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives, safety best practices, and documentation/reporting for management.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills to convey information between artisans, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
• Experience organising workshops or team meetings and facilitating alignment on objectives.
• Background in B2B customer service with a professional, responsive approach.
• Proven project‑management abilities, including planning, prioritisation, and deadline adherence.
• Prior experience in an atelier, manufacturing, or artisanal environment, preferably in fashion, leather goods, or lifestyle products.
• Detail‑oriented, organised, and committed to quality and continuous improvement.
• Comfort working on‑site in Antananarivo and collaborating with multicultural teams.
• Fluency in French; working knowledge of English; Malagasy is a plus.
