Senior Mobile App Developer – iOS & Android (Remote, UK)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile App Developer to join a growing technology team in Manchester. The role involves creating high‑quality native iOS and Android applications that serve customers across the UK, working from design through to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Build new features and improve existing functionality.
• Work with Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit for iOS development.
• Develop Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Integrate REST APIs and third‑party services.
• Write clean, maintainable and scalable code.
• Participate in code reviews and influence technical decisions.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams in an Agile environment.
• Mentor and support other developers within the team.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience developing native applications on both iOS and Android.
• Passion for building high‑quality software.
• Experience publishing apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Proficiency with REST API integration.
• Knowledge of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Firebase, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) is beneficial but not essential.
