About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Technician (H/F) to join a leading industrial electricity solutions provider. The role supports the full product lifecycle, from concept and prototype to industrialisation, ensuring robust and manufacturable mechanical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the design and development of new equipment, from mock‑up to industrialisation.
• Identify, analyse and propose technical solutions that respect manufacturing, maintenance and performance constraints.
• Create 3‑D mechanical models and associated technical drawings using CAD tools.
• Define and optimise complex mechanical assemblies.
• Provide technical support during assembly, testing and commissioning phases.
• Maintain industrialisation bills of materials according to established processes.
• Perform mechanical analyses and material strength calculations to validate designs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of products and technical solutions.
• Participate in internal technical meetings and liaise with suppliers, partners and international R&D teams.

Required profile

• BTS, DUT or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in mechanical design or industrial design offices is an asset.
• Ability to work in English in an international context.

Required skills

• Mechanical design and industrial drawing.
• Reading and interpreting assembly drawings.
• Strength of materials knowledge.
• 3D CAD (preferably PTC Creo Parametric).
• Experience with PTC Windchill, Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with SAP MM module and ANSYS is appreciated.
