Senior Mobile Developer – Native iOS & Android

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile App Developer to join a fast‑growing technology team. You will work on high‑quality native iOS and Android applications that serve customers across the UK, from design through to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain native mobile applications for iOS (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit) and Android (Kotlin, Java).
• Build new features, improve existing functionality and integrate REST APIs and third‑party services.
• Publish applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code while participating in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams in an Agile environment.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decisions.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience developing native iOS and Android applications.
• Passion for delivering high‑performance, user‑centric mobile experiences.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, preferably based in the North West of England.

Required skills

• Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit
• Kotlin, Java
• REST API integration
• Mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture
• Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing
• Experience with cloud platforms (Firebase, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) – beneficial but not essential
• Knowledge of cross‑platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native – beneficial
