About the role

Onja, a social‑enterprise that trains under‑privileged youth to become world‑class software developers, is expanding into mental‑health education. As a Counselling Course Designer you will create a full‑stack, online‑first curriculum that turns absolute beginners into competent, employable therapists and counsellors.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging video lectures, learning activities and assessment tools for a therapy and counselling programme.
• Integrate evidence‑based psychotherapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) into the curriculum.
• Ensure the curriculum is scalable, high‑quality and aligned with an online‑first delivery model.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts, instructional designers and technology teams to produce a cohesive learning experience.
• Monitor and refine course content based on learner feedback and employment outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mental‑health counselling or therapy practice.
• Background in curriculum design, instructional design or adult education.
• Familiarity with CBT and DBT techniques.
• Strong commitment to social impact and ability to work in a fast‑growing, mission‑driven environment.
