Head of Sales & Marketing – Antananarivo

About the role

Helios Towers Madagascar is seeking a dynamic Head of Sales & Marketing to lead its sales function. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will build and manage a high‑performing sales team, develop strategies to meet financial targets, and ensure profitable growth of the tower infrastructure business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy aligned with Helios Towers Madagascar’s financial goals.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify and exploit business opportunities.
• Prepare forecasts, sales KPIs and pipeline reports for executive management.
• Lead the launch of new products and design competitive pricing models.
• Build and maintain long‑lasting relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Negotiate key sales contracts in collaboration with legal and group sales teams.
• Oversee contract management, including renewals and extensions.
• Drive systems and process improvements within the sales function.
• Develop and mentor Sales Account Managers to achieve performance targets.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in sales, preferably within telecommunications or infrastructure.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyse market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Experience leading and developing high‑performing sales teams.
