Associate Operations Manager

About the role

The Associate Operations Manager will work closely with the Operations Manager to coordinate daily activities across imports, procurement, logistics, inventory, and warehouse operations in Madagascar. The role focuses on ensuring reliable service delivery, meeting KPIs, and supporting continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare inventory reports, support demand planning and forecasting, and monitor operational performance against KPIs.
• Review and optimise operational processes, develop sustainable solutions, and ensure accurate ERP/CRM transactions.
• Coordinate warehouse and procurement activities, manage stock levels, conduct cycle counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
• Oversee end‑to‑end procurement, maintain supplier database, and contribute to cash‑flow forecasting.
• Manage import/export logistics with clearing agents and 3PL providers, ensuring compliance with regulatory documentation.
• Support cross‑functional initiatives that improve efficiency, service delivery, and customer experience.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Procurement, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in supply‑chain or operations roles, preferably in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with experience in data reporting and process improvement.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Motivation to create positive outcomes for rural and off‑grid communities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, complex formulas) and large‑dataset handling.
• Practical experience with ERP systems and other business software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Sheets.
