Depot Supervisor

About the role

The Depot Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily depot and onsite operations, ensuring compliance with HSSEQ policies and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role supports the Depot Manager in all aspects of depot maintenance and operational activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily tank dipping and maintain real‑time stock visibility.
• Supervise fuel loading, transfer, and unloading, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Monitor product quality (density, temperature, visual checks) and quantity control.
• Enforce HSSE standards across handling, transport, and delivery operations.
• Perform density and temperature measurements before and after truck unloading.
• Authorize critical operations and carry out tank sampling as required.
• Assist mechanics with preventive maintenance of pumps, tanks, and related equipment.
• Maintain proper housekeeping in all depot areas.
• Record depot operations, manage documentation, and track operational materials.
• Supervise and evaluate depot staff and contractors, ensuring daily compliance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Transport Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in depot operations, road transport, or plant engineering.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
• Valid driver’s licence.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
