EU Global Gateway Coordination Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking senior experts to support the European Union’s Global Gateway Initiative. The Coordination Expert will work with partner‑country institutions, EU bodies and private stakeholders to prepare and promote investment‑oriented projects aligned with the Initiative’s priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing reform strategies and policy actions linked to Global Gateway priorities.
• Coordinate activities across sectors such as sustainable infrastructure, renewable energy, digital connectivity, transport, water and sanitation, and climate resilience.
• Identify, analyse and prepare investment projects, including feasibility studies and pipeline development.
• Facilitate collaboration among partner‑country authorities, international financial institutions, Team Europe actors and private sector partners.
• Support stakeholder engagement, dialogue facilitation and donor coordination to ensure alignment with EU external cooperation objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of professional experience in development cooperation, infrastructure, investment or related fields.
• Proven experience with EU‑funded programmes, Team Europe initiatives or similar investment‑oriented international development projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work with government agencies, IFIs, development finance institutions and private sector stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills, with fluency in English (C1 level or higher).
