Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical finance professional to support the financial planning and strategic development of our industrial and startup ventures. The FP&A Specialist will work closely with management and operational teams to build sustainable businesses across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and maintain detailed business plans and financial models for new and existing projects.
• Develop financial projections, including five‑year forecasts, budgets and cash‑flow analyses.
• Conduct financial feasibility studies and evaluate investment opportunities.
• Analyse operational and financial performance, identify trends and provide recommendations to management.
• Support the preparation of presentations, reports and financial documents for banks and management.
• Monitor project costs, profitability and return on investment.
• Collaborate with operational teams to understand business requirements and translate them into financial strategies.
• Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data used in strategic decision‑making.
• Assist in setting up financial processes, controls and reporting structures in startup environments.
• Carry out market research and benchmarking to support business expansion initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• ACCA qualification, partially completed ACCA studies, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in finance, financial planning, business analysis or a similar role.
• Previous exposure to startups, manufacturing or industrial businesses is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and business valuation.
