Freelance Network Engineer Required

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Network Engineer to join Pearson IT Group’s on‑site support team in Antananarivo, Madagascar. The role involves providing comprehensive technical support to a client, ensuring rapid response times and maintaining hardware, software and network reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site and on‑call technical support for end‑users, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
• Meet strict Service Level Agreements, including a Next Business Day response and a 2‑hour on‑site arrival for critical requests.
• Perform scheduled site visits, routine maintenance and client‑requested inspections.
• Diagnose, repair and upgrade PCs, laptops and peripheral devices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical support or network engineering.
• Reliable and able to respond quickly to emergency calls.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Antananarivo and be on call as needed.
