Operations Officer

About the role

Onja trains underprivileged youth into software developers through a two-and-a-half-year programme, and operates as a single organisation combining education, hiring and partnerships. The Operations Officer ensures processes are followed and continuously improved within their Operations key area (such as Administration, Facility and Equipment Management, Procurement or Inventory), coordinates with the Operations Manager and team to optimise efficiency and support Onja's overall goals. Hiring is based on potential, attitude and cultural fit rather than specific qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee specific operation key areas such as administration, facility and equipment management, procurement and logistics, or inventory.
• Coordinate with the Operations Lead and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with local authorities and stakeholders.
