Project Manager – Carbon Projects

About the role

Terrava is building a platform that combines blockchain and AI to bring transparency and real climate impact to carbon projects worldwide. We are looking for a Project Manager to lead client implementations, acting as the operational backbone that connects project developers, NGOs, and corporates with our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end implementation of client carbon projects on the Terrava platform, from kickoff to go‑live.
• Manage timelines, scope, budgets, and multiple stakeholders across parallel projects.
• Translate client needs into clear technical and operational requirements for our tech, MRV, and operations teams.
• Lead recurring client check‑ins, status reporting, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate data collection, MRV workflows, and platform onboarding with carbon project developers.
• Identify process gaps and continuously improve delivery methods.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of project‑management experience, preferably with client‑facing implementation projects.
• Strong interest or exposure to carbon markets, climate, sustainability, or environmental projects.
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken) – non‑negotiable.
• Based in Madagascar and comfortable working remotely with a distributed team.
• Excellent organizational skills, ownership mindset, and ability to juggle multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project‑management tools such as ClickUp, Notion, Asana, or equivalent.
