Sales & Business Development Executive – Africa (Bilingual, Remote)

About the role

Optinexx builds solutions for telecom operators serving enterprise clients in Africa; its flagship product, Optiflux, is a white-label B2B self-care SaaS platform. It is looking for a freelance, remote Sales & Business Development Executive based in Mauritius or Madagascar to drive commercial expansion across Africa, with a primary focus on French-speaking Sub-Saharan Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and close new business opportunities with telecom operators and enterprise clients
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers and strategic partners
• Understand prospect needs and position Optiflux as the right technology solution
• Prepare presentations, commercial proposals and responses to RFPs/RFQs
• Work with technical and delivery teams to tailor solutions
• Manage the sales pipeline in the CRM, forecast revenue and report to management
• Negotiate and close commercial agreements
• Contribute to marketing visibility through case studies, webinars, events and campaigns

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in business development or enterprise technology sales
• Proven track record selling software or SaaS to enterprise or government clients
• Experience preparing commercial proposals and handling tenders/RFPs
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Marketing or a related field
• Fluent in written and spoken English and French
• Background in or exposure to the telecommunications industry is a strong plus
