Senior Accountant Executive

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant Executive to manage end‑to‑end billing, bank reconciliations, vendor payments and tax compliance for our operations near Kharadi, Pune. The role requires a detail‑oriented professional who can work independently and support audit preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Generate invoices, share with customers, track payments and confirm receipt.
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Verify vendor invoices, prioritize and execute timely payments.
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments and escalate overdue accounts.
• Handle TDS deduction, TDS return filing (24Q/26Q) and issue Form 16/16A.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B) and conduct 2A/2B reconciliation.
• Manage PF and ESIC compliance, including monthly contributions and annual returns.
• Generate e‑invoices on the IRP portal, create e‑way bills, and compute advance tax installments.
• Record daily business expenses in Zoho Books, monitor budget vs. actuals, and maintain ledgers, trial balances and account statements.
• Maintain the tax compliance calendar and liaise with vendors, clients, auditors and internal teams.

Required profile

• B.Com, M.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance (mandatory).
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, high accuracy and solid organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Zoho Books or similar cloud accounting software.
• Knowledge of TDS, GST, PF, ESIC, advance tax and e‑invoicing compliance.
• Experience with bank reconciliation, accounts receivable/payable and vendor/customer payment management.
