Senior Corridor Management Authority Expert

About the role

NTU International is looking for a Senior Corridor Management Authority Expert to support the EU‑funded “Technical Assistance to ECOWAS in Transport Governance” project. The role will focus on establishing and operationalising Corridor Management Authorities across West Africa, strengthening governance, coordination and performance monitoring of regional transport corridors.

Key responsibilities

• Support the establishment and operationalisation of Corridor Management Authorities (CMAs) across regional transport corridors.
• Provide technical assistance on corridor governance frameworks, institutional arrangements and operational procedures.
• Develop mandates, governance structures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordination protocols for CMAs.
• Facilitate coordination among ECOWAS institutions, national authorities, corridor stakeholders and development partners.
• Support the development and implementation of corridor performance monitoring systems and management tools.
• Advise on transport corridor governance, logistics coordination and multimodal connectivity initiatives.
• Lead stakeholder consultations, inter‑agency coordination mechanisms and regional policy dialogue.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, operational frameworks, governance assessments and strategic recommendations.
• Deliver capacity‑building activities, workshops and technical training related to corridor management and transport governance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in transport planning, logistics, public administration, infrastructure management, economics or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in corridor management, transport governance, logistics or regional infrastructure coordination.
• At least 7 years of experience specifically in corridor governance, transport facilitation or institutional coordination for regional transport corridors.
• Proven experience working on transport or regional integration projects in developing countries, preferably in Sub‑Saharan Africa.
• Experience in international development cooperation and donor‑funded programmes.
