Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We’re looking for a highly ambitious Senior Software Engineer to build systems that solve real problems at scale for short‑term rental operators. You’ll design, ship, and automate customer‑facing products, AI‑powered workflows and integrations that directly impact property managers, their teams, and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable applications, services and APIs that power reservations, pricing, payments and property operations.
• Build event‑driven automation engines that handle tasks such as cleaning scheduling, check‑in instructions and owner statements.
• Develop AI‑powered systems using LLMs and agents to automate guest communication, maintenance triage and pricing decisions.
• Create robust API‑first integrations with platforms like Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio and OpenAI.
• Deploy and manage cloud‑native, serverless infrastructure on AWS to ensure reliability and performance at global scale.

Required profile

• Strong experience building and owning production‑grade software systems.
• Proficiency with FastAPI, Python, React or comparable frameworks.
• Deep understanding of APIs, distributed systems and cloud architecture.
• Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions and balance speed with maintainability.
• Curiosity about AI, automation and operational efficiency.
