CMS Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, build, and maintain custom Content Management System applications. This remote, contract position will involve turning design mockups into responsive, secure web experiences while collaborating with designers and content teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage, and scale customized CMS applications, building custom themes, modules, and plugins.
• Implement responsive designs, ensure cross‑browser compatibility, and conduct performance tuning.
• Set up custom post types and fields to provide an intuitive editing experience for non‑technical users.
• Maintain site security, data protection, user authentication, backups, and regular software updates.
• Apply technical SEO best practices and integrate third‑party APIs, CRM systems, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, back‑end developers, and content stakeholders.
• Produce clean code and comprehensive technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of software development experience focused on CMS technologies.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and manage time effectively.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and attention to design accuracy.
