Founding Software Engineer – Build AI‑powered Rental Platform

About the role

The Flex is building Base360.ai, an operating system for modern renting that connects property data, automates workflows, and powers seamless stays worldwide. As a Founding Software Engineer you will create core systems that directly impact thousands of guests and properties.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and scale the Base360.ai platform, including bookings, pricing, payments, and guest experiences.
• Design and implement event‑driven automations that replace manual tasks.
• Develop AI‑powered workflows using LLMs and AI agents to improve decision‑making.
• Create robust, API‑first services for internal and third‑party integrations.
• Integrate with platforms such as Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, and Google.
• Deploy and manage cloud‑native, serverless infrastructure for global reliability.
• Own projects end‑to‑end, from concept through deployment and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong experience building production‑grade software systems.
• Proficiency with FastAPI, Python, React, or comparable frameworks.
• Deep understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and cloud architecture.
• Experience designing scalable backend services.
