HR Generalist – EMEA (Madagascar)

About the role

Excis is seeking an HR Generalist to support its EMEA operations from Antananarivo, Madagascar. You will partner with leaders across multiple countries to deliver HR services throughout the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to execute HR strategies aligned with global business objectives.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contracts, transfers, promotions, employee relations, and off‑boarding.
• Provide HR advisory on disciplinary matters, performance management, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, GDPR, and internal policies across multiple jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with legal advisers, payroll providers, accountants, and external HR partners.
• Handle payroll inputs, benefits, leave administration, statutory requirements, and HR documentation.
• Develop and improve HR policies, SOPs, templates, and best practices.
• Prepare workforce analytics, KPI reports, and HR insights for strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in HR Operations.
• Experience supporting EMEA or multi‑country HR operations (highly desirable).
• Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle management, employee relations, labor law compliance, and payroll support.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate across regions.
• Proactive, organized, and solutions‑driven professional.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with HRIS platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Workforce reporting and HR analytics capabilities.
