Human Resources Business Partner – HR Manager (HRBP & Payroll)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead HR operations, payroll, and employee relations for our delivery centre in Antananarivo. The role partners with business leaders to support workforce planning, performance management and organisational growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business and operations leaders on workforce planning, employee engagement and talent development.
• Own the end‑to‑end monthly payroll process, validate attendance, overtime and incentives, and coordinate with payroll vendors.
• Act as primary HR contact for employee concerns, manage disciplinary processes, grievances and investigations.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding, maintain employee records and ensure data confidentiality.
• Prepare HR reports, dashboards and workforce analytics, and ensure compliance with Madagascar labour laws.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–8 years of HR experience, including payroll and employee relations.
• At least 2 years in an HR Business Partner or HR Manager role.
• Fluent French and English (minimum B1 level).
• Strong knowledge of Madagascar labour regulations.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
• HR reporting and analytics.
