Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead all HR activities for Onix Engineering Group in Antananarivo, ensuring that recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations are executed efficiently and in compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations.
• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with Madagascar labor legislation and company standards.
• Manage compensation and benefits processes, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate training, professional development and change‑management initiatives.
• Support leadership with workforce planning, reporting and HR analytics.
• Foster an inclusive workplace culture and handle conflict resolution.
• Maintain accurate HR documentation and produce regular HR reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field; HR certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of Madagascar labor laws or comparable regulatory environments.
• Experience in HR management within engineering, telecom or infrastructure sectors is advantageous.
• Ability to work on‑site in Antananarivo and collaborate in a multicultural, fast‑paced environment.
