IT Operations Officer (NOC) – Antananarivo

About the role

The World Food Programme is seeking an IT Operations Officer (NOC) to lead the delivery of efficient and effective IT and telecommunications services at its Antananarivo office. The position is fixed‑term for one year, renewable after successful probation, and reports to the Head of Enabling Services and Risk Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a small team to implement IT and telecommunications plans across the assigned area.
• Provide technical recommendations on system design, development, and implementation.
• Conduct complex analyses, propose creative solutions, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Oversee network operations centre (NOC) activities to ensure service continuity.
• Contribute to strategic planning and policy development as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT operations and network management.
• Ability to work independently and lead a small technical team.
• Strong analytical skills and capacity to develop innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to senior management.
