IT Solutions Associate (Re‑advertised)

About the role

The World Food Programme is seeking two IT Solutions Associates for its Antananarivo office – one on a fixed‑term contract and one on a service contract. The role provides technical support for the design, development, testing and deployment of IT solutions that meet operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Write and maintain code for efficient IT solution components.
• Perform unit and integration testing of new and modified code to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Update technical documentation to facilitate system maintenance.
• Assist with installation, configuration and customization of software following WFP IT standards.
• Provide first‑line support to users, escalating complex issues when necessary.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of professional experience in IT solution development or support.
• Completed secondary education; a post‑secondary certificate in a relevant field is desirable.
• Fluent French (C level); knowledge of English is an asset.
• Proven ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in daily operations.
