Monitoring Assistant (SC5)

About the role

The Monitoring Assistant (SC5) supports the Monitoring, Evaluation and Accountability (M&E) team in delivering effective humanitarian assistance across three locations in Madagascar – Bekily, Tsihombe and Manakara. Working under the direct supervision of the M&E Associate and the RAM officer, the role focuses on data collection, survey implementation and reporting to ensure programmes meet their objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the RAM officer in planning and conducting baseline, outcome and end‑line surveys.
• Support process and targeting surveys as required by programme needs.
• Supervise and monitor TPM activities within the assigned coverage area.
• Compile, analyse and present monitoring data in clear reports.
• Provide timely information to support effective programme implementation.

Required profile

• Experience in monitoring and evaluation activities within humanitarian programmes.
• Ability to conduct field surveys and supervise data collection teams.
• Strong reporting skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in remote locations in Madagascar.
