National Project Development and Reporting Officer

About the role

The National Project Development and Reporting Officer will support IOM Madagascar’s strategic programme portfolio, focusing on the Integrated Territorial Model of Andasibe pilot. Reporting to the Chief of Mission, the role combines project development, donor reporting, and partnership engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop results‑based programme concepts, project proposals and concept notes in coordination with senior staff, donors and government partners.
• Prepare and submit donor reports, monitor results, and ensure alignment with IOM’s Strategic Results Framework.
• Research funding opportunities, draft donor profiles and guidance notes, and assist in expanding the donor base.
• Support visibility and resource‑mobilisation activities, including donor briefings and material preparation.
• Maintain accurate records of project development and reporting activities in IOM’s information systems.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in International Relations, Development, Migration Studies or related field with at least two years of relevant experience, or a university degree with four years of experience.
• Proven experience in results‑based project development, technical writing and donor/reporting in the humanitarian or development sector.
