NLP Data Annotator (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented NLP Data Annotator to help improve cutting‑edge Natural Language Processing systems. Working remotely, you will label, classify, and evaluate text and speech data that powers chatbots, search engines, and language‑understanding models.

Key responsibilities

• Read and analyze text data following detailed annotation guidelines.
• Perform sentiment labeling, intent classification, entity tagging, and text categorisation.
• Maintain high accuracy and consistency across all annotations.
• Conduct quality checks, resolve discrepancies, and meet productivity targets.
• Provide feedback to refine annotation processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, English, Communications, Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• Strong command of written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience with large language model (LLM) training datasets.
• Excellent reading comprehension and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with data formats such as JSON, XML and CSV.
• Knowledge of evaluation metrics (precision, recall, F1‑score).
• Experience working with APIs and data pipelines.
