Programme Associate – Nutrition (G6) – Field Office

About the role

The World Food Programme is seeking a Programme Associate – Nutrition at G6 level to provide specialised support and technical analysis for nutrition programmes in the field offices of Manakara and Ambovombe, Madagascar.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver specialised support and technical analyses to inform nutrition policy and programme decisions.
• Respond independently to queries, using sound judgment and only general guidance.
• Manage resources and coordinate support staff, providing coaching where needed.
• Collaborate with the Programme Policy Officer or Head of Field Office to ensure effective implementation of nutrition activities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated responsibility and initiative in a humanitarian or development context.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong resource‑management and coordination skills.
• Commitment to WFP’s values of integrity, collaboration, commitment, humanity and inclusion.

Required skills

• Technical analysis related to nutrition programmes.
