Sales Trainee – International Logistics

About the role

DHL Global Forwarding Madagascar is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Trainee to support its sales sub‑function in a defined territory. You will work closely with the commercial team to help drive business growth, profitability and customer retention across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Administer sales plans, forecasts, revenues, costs and budgets for the assigned territory.
• Support marketing, advertising, pricing and distribution initiatives.
• Participate in customer meetings, joint sales visits and assist in quotation and negotiation processes.
• Help formulate pricing policies, monitor profitability and manage price renegotiations.
• Reconcile sales, revenue and cost data against forecasts to identify issues.
• Collaborate with Sales Effectiveness to highlight improvement areas from pipeline reporting.
• Research market trends and customer requirements to translate products into tailored solutions.
• Assist in coordinating customer strategies, contract negotiations, cross‑selling activities and supply‑chain processes.
• Maintain sales support tools and processes to ensure sales force effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a related sales or commercial role.
