Senior MongoDB Expert – Database Engineer

About the role

Join a leading pan‑African technology group that operates in four French‑speaking countries. As a Senior MongoDB Expert you will design, deploy and maintain a high‑availability MongoDB infrastructure that supports rapid regional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement MongoDB architecture and installations across multiple data centres.
• Set up and configure monitoring solutions to ensure performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with vendors to define L2 operational manuals.
• Participate in incident‑resolution calls when issues exceed the NOC’s scope.
• Define and roll out operational procedures (ModOps) for NOC teams.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on MongoDB experience.
• Senior‑level professional with strong autonomy.
• Comfortable working in a multi‑country, multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Native or fluent French speaker with good English proficiency.
• Based in Madagascar (preferred).
