Small Grants Programme National Coordinator

About the role

The Small Grants Programme National Coordinator will lead the implementation of UNDP Madagascar's Small Grants Programme, contributing to the Country Programme Document 2024‑2028 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Small Grants Programme in Madagascar, ensuring alignment with UNSDCF Outcome 4 and Strategic Priority 4 on Sustainable, Resilient and Inclusive Environmental Management.
• Support the Nature, Climate, Environment and Resilience Unit in delivering climate‑smart and inclusive natural‑resource initiatives.
• Facilitate collaboration with government, civil‑society and UN partners to promote risk‑informed, inclusive management of ecosystems.

Required profile

• Open to Tier 1 and Tier 2 UNDP/UNCDF/UNV staff as indicated in the vacancy title.
• Experience in programme coordination or project management within the development sector.
• Understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals, environmental management and Madagascar’s strategic drivers.
