Social Compliance Auditor (Part-time/Freelance)

About the role

As a Social Compliance Auditor, you will conduct on‑site assessments of our clients' supplier factories to verify adherence to labor laws, health and safety standards, and environmental regulations. This part‑time/freelance position supports QIMA’s mission to deliver trustworthy products through rigorous compliance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Audit manufacturing sites to evaluate compliance with international standards and client‑specific procedures.
• Review documentation such as payroll records and employment contracts for legal conformity.
• Conduct employee interviews to gather insights on working conditions and labor rights.
• Identify non‑compliance issues, document findings in detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Follow up on corrective measures to ensure sustained improvements.
• Stay updated on relevant regulations and participate in ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of at least one audit program (e.g., SA8000, ISO14001, ICTI, C‑TPAT, WRAP, BSCI, SMETA).
• Experience in third‑party auditing; APSCA RA level is preferred.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
