Social Media Strategist & Content Creator

About the role

We are a fast‑moving video production company looking for a creative, highly organized Social Media Strategist & Content Creator. This part‑time, fully remote position works directly with the founder and the creative team to turn brand goals into effective social strategies and high‑quality short‑form video assets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive, platform‑specific content plans that align with diverse client objectives and audiences.
• Conceptualise native social ideas, thumb‑stopping hooks, and campaign concepts that are both creative and commercially effective.
• Lead client calls, present strategies, and explain the data and psychological reasoning behind creative choices.
• Edit social films, reels, and short‑form videos to a polished, social‑first standard using industry‑standard tools.
• Support production logistics, including call sheets, shoot preparation, and balancing creative priorities with timelines.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, or content creation within an agency or video‑production environment.
• Deep understanding of social platforms, current trends, and algorithm mechanics.
• Proven ability to edit high‑performing short‑form video content independently.
• Exceptional written and spoken English with strong presentation skills.
• Proactive, dependable, and comfortable working autonomously as the internal social‑media expert.
