Software Development Engineer – Full Stack (PHP & JavaScript)

About the role

Concentrix is looking for a Software Development Engineer to design, build, test and enhance full‑stack applications using PHP and JavaScript. You will work within a global IT and security team, collaborating with product owners and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable, user‑focused digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software applications and system components.
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders and technical teams to define requirements and functional specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable and well‑documented code following development standards.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
• Support application integration, system interoperability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to software architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
• Execute unit, integration and validation testing to ensure solution quality and reliability.
• Work within Agile or similar development methodologies to deliver projects on schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in software development or application engineering.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Fluent in French with good written and verbal English communication skills.
