Software Engineer Annotator (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer Annotator to join our remote team. In this position you will evaluate, label, and improve software engineering datasets that power AI and large language model training.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate and review code datasets used for AI training, focusing on correctness, efficiency, readability, and security.
• Label tasks such as code completion, debugging, refactoring, and optimization.
• Provide structured feedback to improve model performance and ensure adherence to annotation guidelines.
• Collaborate with AI trainers, reviewers, and data teams to maintain high‑quality annotations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Prior experience with data annotation, AI training, or code review is preferred.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go.
• Knowledge of APIs, backend systems, and web technologies.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and coding best practices.
• Experience with annotation platforms or labeling tools.
