Country Manager Madagascar

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, hands‑on Country Manager to lead and grow our operations in Madagascar. This senior leadership position is central to delivering high‑quality medical and operational services to key clients in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all operational activities across Madagascar, ensuring service excellence.
• Manage key client relationships and act as the primary interface with stakeholders.
• Drive operational performance, quality, and continuous improvement across multiple sites.
• Support business growth, tender processes, and new project mobilisations.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and International SOS policies.
• Collaborate with regional teams across Africa to align strategy and execution.
• Lead, develop, and inspire a diverse, high‑performing team.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, site or supply‑chain management.
• Proven leadership and client‑relationship management skills.
• Ability to work in complex, multicultural environments.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business and operational acumen.
• Experience in Africa, energy, mining or infrastructure sectors is a plus.
• Fluent in English; French is a strong advantage.
