About the role

Onja is expanding its impact by creating a new career pathway in therapy and counselling. The role focuses on building a comprehensive, online‑first training program that turns absolute beginners into competent, employable therapists and counsellors.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging video lectures, learning activities, and course materials for a therapy and counselling curriculum.
• Structure the program to cover core psychotherapy methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
• Ensure the curriculum is scalable, high‑quality, and aligned with remote service delivery models.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to validate content and maintain educational standards.
• Monitor and iterate on the program based on learner feedback and employment outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong background in mental health education, therapy training, or related fields.
• Experience designing curriculum or educational programs for beginners.
• Ability to create clear, engaging instructional content for online delivery.
• Passion for social impact and empowering under‑privileged youth.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles.
• Familiarity with Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) techniques.
