DevOps Engineer – Amdocs Migration

About the role

Ontrac Solutions is looking for a DevOps Engineer to lead the migration of legacy systems to Amdocs platforms. You will automate deployment pipelines, ensure high availability, and support seamless integration across multiple environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, Shell, and Groovy to streamline build, deployment, and operational tasks.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and administrators to automate service migration to Amdocs environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) with integrated testing and validation.
• Use Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and CloudFormation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and scaling.
• Script monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, ELK, Splunk, Grafana) and create runbooks for self‑healing automation.
• Automate security and compliance checks, access provisioning, and patching to protect customer and billing data.

Required profile

• Strong background in scripting and automation for large‑scale environments.
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
• Hands‑on expertise in infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Familiarity with telecom OSS/BSS systems and Amdocs products.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
