Financial Analyst – Billing & Revenue (FR/EN)

About the role

MaaSil-Inc. is recruiting a bilingual Financial Analyst (French and English) for a restaurant franchise client that develops virtual restaurant brands and sells through major European delivery platforms. The role covers the end-to-end invoicing cycle, accounts receivable and payable, and month-end accounting, with a strong focus on data reconciliation and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Invoicing cycle: run weekly and bi-weekly invoicing from raw sales data, reconcile multi-source feeds to check contractual terms, fee percentages and royalties, and automate data preparation and billing workflows.
• Accounts receivable: generate and dispatch AR invoices, monitor aging balances, reconcile debtor accounts and follow up on collections.
• Accounts payable: process expenses and invoices, ensure correct GL coding, VAT and cost-centre allocation, and perform three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices and delivery receipts.
• Vendor management: act as the main contact for vendor inquiries, account reconciliations and payment status updates.
• Month-end close: prepare bank reconciliations, balance sheet schedules and journal entries, keep records audit-ready, and support ad-hoc analysis, management reporting and system upgrades.

Required profile

• Bilingual fluency in French and English (written, read and spoken).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Corporate Finance, Accounting, Audit or Business Analytics.
• High autonomy, attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving workflows.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (nested formulas, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic pivot tables, large datasets).
• Experience with modern ERPs such as NetSuite is an advantage.
• Familiarity with SQL or cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery is a strong bonus.
