Marketing and Communications Specialist

About the role

The Marketing and Communications Specialist works under the direction of a Director to promote, support, and protect the brand. This role develops advertising creative, collateral, and high‑quality events and programs that enhance brand visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Social Media – create and implement a monthly schedule for all ERA social platforms, monitor activity, respond to interactions, and identify opportunities to grow fans and followers.
• Develop new social‑media events, functions and collaborations to increase engagement.
• Advertising/Promotion – collaborate with the Marketing Director and external agencies to plan seasonal creative roll‑outs and events, and attend photo shoots, donation and political events.
• Research and Marketing Plan Development – identify opportunities to gather meaningful data, contribute innovative ideas, and help shape the marketing plan.
• Shows and Events – assist in planning and executing collection drives, hard‑drive shredding events, mass donation events and charity fundraisers.
• Administration – support the creation of the annual budget, conduct monthly budget reviews, generate purchase orders and prepare monthly executive summaries.
• Website – coordinate and implement web content updates.
