AI Trainer – LLM & Generative AI Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented AI Trainer to help shape the next generation of large language models and generative AI systems. You will work remotely with a global team, designing training workflows, creating high‑quality datasets, and analysing model behaviour to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and manage end‑to‑end training pipelines, including supervised fine‑tuning (SFT) and Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF).
• Develop complex prompt templates and testing scenarios across coding, creative writing, reasoning, and multilingual tasks.
• Define and maintain rubrics for model output quality and conduct root‑cause analysis of failures such as bias or hallucinations.
• Create “golden datasets” that set behavioural standards for specific domains.
• Guide junior trainers and annotators, ensuring consistency and high standards.
• Document training methodologies, model behaviours, and iterative improvements for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with ML engineers and product managers to translate research goals into actionable annotation tasks.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and propose enhancements to annotation tools and synthetic data generation strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant technical field (e.g., software engineering, computer science).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to dissect complex problems and articulate abstract concepts.
• Comfortable reading technical papers and staying up‑to‑date with AI safety research.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to shift between technical (e.g., ranking code) and creative (e.g., writing fiction) tasks.
