Branch Manager – Logistics

About the role

Join a fast‑growing international shipping and logistics group as the Branch Manager for Madagascar. You will lead country‑level logistics operations, drive compliance, and support business growth while working with a collaborative leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all logistics activities in Madagascar, ensuring efficient, compliant, and customer‑focused operations.
• Lead and develop a local team of supervisors, coordinators, and administrators.
• Coordinate with finance to close logistics files, manage cash flow, and handle collections.
• Maintain daily communication with existing clients and assist in acquiring new business.
• Implement procedures and ensure full compliance with government regulations and company guidelines.
• Contribute to HSQE system development, attend committee meetings, and support audits.
• Help grow the company’s logistics market share within the country.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in shipping and logistics operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of the shipping industry.
• Proven team‑management and operational‑improvement experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Collaborative, cross‑functional work style.
• Professional proficiency in English and French.
• Clear criminal record.
