Credit Controller – International Logistics

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding Madagascar as a Credit Controller, where you will act as the Subject Matter Expert in credit management and collections. You will work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure compliance with Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) policies and support the company’s global logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OTC policy and credit management processes, including controlling releases for accounts on hold.
• Assist with collection of high‑risk or potentially legal accounts within your portfolio.
• Execute the OTC strategy in partnership with the Shared Service Centre team.
• Build relationships across internal functions to facilitate effective collaboration.
• Support adherence to policies, procedures, and SOPs related to the OTC process.
• Develop and maintain finance‑focused relationships with customers.
• Facilitate resolution of internal and external disputes and queries.
• Coordinate with legal counsel for the recovery of legal debtor accounts when required.

Required profile

• Excellent knowledge of credit and collection processes.
• Good understanding of local legal requirements, including tax invoice regulations.
• High degree of conceptual and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Matric or Diploma in Finance (or equivalent) is beneficial.
• Experience working with an outsourced team is an advantage.
