HR Generalist – EMEA

About the role

Excis is seeking an HR Generalist to support its EMEA operations. You will partner with leaders across multiple countries, delivering HR services that enhance employee experience throughout the entire lifecycle while ensuring compliance with local legislation and global policies.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contracts, transfers, promotions, relations, and off‑boarding.
• Provide trusted HR advice on employee relations, disciplinary actions, performance management, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, GDPR, and internal policies across multiple jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with legal advisers, payroll providers, accountants, and external HR partners.
• Oversee payroll inputs, benefits, leave administration, statutory reporting, and HR documentation.
• Develop and improve HR policies, SOPs, templates, and best practices.
• Prepare workforce analytics, KPI reports, and insights to support strategic decisions.
• Lead initiatives that boost employee engagement, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
• Support business transformations, restructures, international expansion, and change initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in HR Operations.
• Experience supporting multi‑country or EMEA HR operations is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle management, employee relations, labor law compliance, payroll support and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to handle disciplinary cases, grievances, investigations, performance management and HR documentation.
• Excellent English communication skills and confidence to collaborate with stakeholders across regions.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with HRIS platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with workforce reporting and HR analytics.
