Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP & Payroll)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to lead HR operations for our delivery centre in Antananarivo. The role combines strategic HR business partnering with hands‑on payroll and employee‑relations responsibilities, ensuring compliance with local labour legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders for workforce planning and HR strategy.
• Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution.
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and overall HR operations.
• Ensure compliance with Madagascar labour laws.
• Support recruitment and workforce planning activities.
• Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and analytics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business Administration.
• 5–8 years of HR experience, preferably as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager.
• Strong payroll and employee‑relations experience.
• Fluent in French and English (minimum B1 level).
• Knowledge of Madagascar labour legislation.
• Excellent Excel, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in BPO or shared services environments is a plus.
• Exposure to HRIS or payroll systems preferred.
• Experience managing a workforce of 100+ employees.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
