Ocean Freight Trainee – Customer Service

About the role

DHL Global Forwarding Madagascar is looking for an enthusiastic Ocean Freight Trainee to support its customer service function. You will work closely with the freight team to ensure high‑quality service delivery and help maintain strong relationships with our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Administer customer service plans and programs in line with global and regional standards.
• Provide administrative support for service initiatives, documenting costs and resource allocation.
• Handle customer inquiries, orders, service requests and complaints, routing them to the appropriate sales or technical teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve call‑center processes and systems.
• Stay updated on DHL’s product and service portfolio.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Less than 2 years of professional experience.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a willingness to learn.
