Ocean Freight Trainee

About the role

DHL Global Forwarding Madagascar, the group's air, ocean and road freight specialist, is looking for an Ocean Freight Trainee. The trainee administers customer service plans and programs and provides administrative support so that customers receive high-quality service and higher satisfaction, in line with business strategy, group guidelines and policies.

Key responsibilities

• Administer customer service plans and programs.
• Provide administrative support for customer service initiatives and activities.
• Use day-to-day customer service processes and procedures in line with standard global and regional processes.
• Document the costs of initiatives to support spending prioritization and resource allocation decisions.
• Respond to customer inquiries, orders, service requests and complaints, or direct them to the appropriate sales representatives or technical/service teams.
• Identify and highlight opportunities for improving call center processes and systems.
• Stay up to date on the company's products and services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with allocated customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/qualification.
• Less than 2 years of experience.
• Legal authorization to work in Madagascar; no visa sponsorship is offered.
