Supply Chain Intern

About the role

Save the Children is looking for a Supply Chain Intern to support its logistics operations in Antananarivo for a three‑month period. Working under the Supply Chain Coordinator, the intern will gain hands‑on experience in procurement, inventory management and logistics reporting within a humanitarian context.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with procurement, logistics and stock management activities.
• Track supplier orders and update monitoring tools.
• Support stock control, inventory counts and documentation of goods.
• File and archive logistics and procurement documents.
• Monitor goods movements and prepare logistics reports.
• Provide administrative support to the Supply Chain team in daily tasks.

Required profile

• Student pursuing studies in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
• Basic understanding of supply chain, purchasing, inventory and logistics principles.
• Strong organizational, analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a team, follow procedures and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in French (written and spoken) and competent in English for internal communication.
• Commitment to integrity, confidentiality and learning in a humanitarian environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
