Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations and manage logistics service providers across Madagascar. You will coordinate import activities, ensure accurate inventory handling, and keep the Head of Supply Chain informed of operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day warehouse activities, recording all goods received and dispatched against purchase orders or MRO requests.
• Manage logistics providers and coordinate inbound shipments, handling import documentation, licences, customs clearance and delivery follow‑up.
• Monitor inventory movements, buffer stocks, returns and quarantine processes; support monthly stock counts and reconciliations in SAP.
• Plan warehouse space, resources and equipment efficiently and escalate operational issues as needed.
• Collaborate with Finance and internal stakeholders on customs payments, stock visibility, reporting and operational follow‑up.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local laws regarding importation, disposal, health, safety, security and environmental standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in warehouse and logistics processes to boost productivity, quality and stakeholder satisfaction.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing or supply‑chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of importation processes, customs clearance, inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Professional certification in procurement and supply (e.g., CIPS/MCIPS) is an advantage.
• Experience in a large organisation is preferred.
• Willingness to travel when required for business needs.
