Workday Finance Senior Consultant

About the role

As a Workday Finance Senior Consultant you will lead consulting engagements that redesign and optimise clients’ financial processes using Workday and other ERP solutions. You will work with organisations of all sizes, from startups to multinational corporations, delivering end‑to‑end finance transformations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse clients’ accounting and finance requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Design, configure, test and deploy Workday Finance modules and integrate them with existing ERP landscapes.
• Develop data conversion strategies, transform raw data into accurate financial reports and dashboards.
• Provide expert guidance on accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, fixed assets and financial reporting.
• Mentor junior consultants, review their deliverables and support their professional development.
• Maintain clear communication with project managers and team members to ensure project milestones are met.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA or a related IT field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an accountant, auditor or senior functional consultant.
• Proven experience implementing or supporting ERP finance systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Workday Finance configuration and implementation.
• ERP platforms such as SAGE X3, Microsoft Dynamics, PeopleSoft, Oracle or SAP.
• Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
• Data conversion and reporting tools.
